Scuba Diving Equipment

Fin : Fins provide propulsion and stability in water and allow the hands to be freed for use. The strong muscles of the legs are employed, they handle the workload much better than the arms muscles.

Wet Suit : Divers need protection against heat loss, cuts, scrapes, stings and other injuries which are possible in the diving environment. Wet suits are the most widely used protective suits.

Weight Belt : To compensate for the buoyancy of your body, your protection suit, and other equipment, lead weight are used. Once diver have determined the exact amount of weight needed for local diving, some prefer to use hip weight which balance well and keep the area beneath the tank clear. The most widely used system is the two inch (5cm) wide nylon belt which holds various sizes of weight . The belt and 1-10 pound (.45-4.5kg) weight are simple and easy to use.

Regulator : A scuba regulator is a mechanical device that delivers air at ambient (surrounding) pressure upon demand. As you descend and the water pressure increases, the regulator automatically compensates for the increased pressure. A regulator consist of a first stage which is attached to the tank.

Buoyancy Compensator : Buoyancy compensator is one of the most important equipment. So the diver will want to be very familiar with buoyancy control systems available. The most important one for consideration when selecting a BC is low pressure inflator. All BC have an inflation /deflation hose which should be of at least ¾ inch (2cm) diameter and have an easy-to work, comfortable mouthpiece.

MASK : To see clearly underwater, an air space is required in front of the eyes. Masks are available in a large variety of types and styles. The Most important consideration of all in selecting a mask is the fit. If the mask fits properly it will pull into place with the partial vacuum created and will remain there as long as the suction is applied.

SNORKEL : Using a snorkel, you can rest or swim at the surface while watching the beauty beneath it without having to lift your head to breathe. There are several types of snorkel , including J-Shaped Ones (mine), flexhose types and self –draining ones.

Hallo, Everybody.....today I want to show my Scuba Diving Equipment...old fashioned...I always used this equipment when diving. Cos' this is the only equipment that I have...
Scuba diving in inner space is quite similar to being an astronout in outer space. A life support system is needed, similar problem of weightlessness and pressure differences require special skills, the environment is totally foreign, and there is so much waiting to be discovered and experienced. There is one great difference , however. Only a select few can become astronout, but any healthy individual who is comfortable in the water can become a diver.
