Aku baru dapat source tentang The Contender Season 2 ni. Rupa-rupanya dia orang kat USA dah siri keenam... kat Malaysia baru tayang siri ke 4. Tak best lah camni.. tak dramatik macam season 1. Apa-apa pun aku tetap akan sokong rancangan Reality TV ni. Memang best. Kesian ngan Ebo , sebab terkeluar dari saingan. Tapi takpe... sebab dia dari kumpulan emas yang memang aku tak berapa suka sebab eksen. Kalau nak ikut kat website The Contender ni... pusingan satu dah habis. Ahhh.. malaslah nak tengok... takut tak asyik bila tengok lam tv nanti. Ni antara petikan yang aku dapat kat salah satu website yang memang minat ngan The Contender.

The Contender – Micheal Stewart Knocks Out Ebo Elder

For their reward for their boxer winning the last fight, the blue team gets to meet Will McGinnis and gets expensive watches. Since the blue team has the right to pick the fight, Micheal Stewart from the blue team chooses to fight Ebo Elder. Micheal Stewart had a difficult time growing up and says he spent time in eight state run facilities. Ebo Elder is married with two daughters. Ebo' s wife wishes he was fighting someone else, because her and Micheal’s wife Lisa have become good friends.
Micheal and Ebo eat breakfast together on the day of the fight. In round one, Ebo jumps out to a quick lead. In round two, Ebo continues his dominance of the fight. In round three, Ebo backs Micheal into the ropes, landing punch after punch. In round four, Micheal comes back and knocks down Ebo. As Ebo struggles to regain his footing, the referee stops the fight. Micheal Stewart wins by knock out.
Even though Micheal Stewart won the fight, it turns out to be a bitter sweet victory. Micheal’s wife tells him that Ebo's little girls were crying, and Micheal says "Boxing is good as a sport but when it becomes a friendship it changes." Micheal also says "Now I'm ashamed of myself, because I knew I could beat the kid. Usually a person…the winner goes home happy, but I'm not going home happy, I'm going home praying for him and his family.”
